Our next event

The theme of our next event has been suggested by our trustees.

It will provide an opportunity to hear from our speakers and plenty of time for discussion.

Reading Interfaith Group is committed to a policy of inclusion. Everyone, regardless of faith background, culture or belief, is welcome. It is very important to us that everyone who contacts our group feels safe and valued.

We celebrate the many opportunities diversity provides to learn from each other. Greater understanding also challenges the fear and prejudice which so often create conflict situations.

At times, and through our different faith traditions, we pray together for peace.

Reading Interfaith Group is very self-disciplined about avoiding politics in our discussions. We do not make judgments about world leaders or hold any faith group responsible for the actions governments may take in their name.

Our focus is consistently about, that precious opportunity we have here in Reading to set a good example of friendship and understanding for communities so much less fortunate than our own.
